During the talk, Dato’ Dr. Edmund did share about what is the basic food for foot and knee pain patient.

  • Ginger helps to relieves pain and inflammation. It also helps to repair nerve damage.
  • A compound found in broccoli could help prevent or slow the progress of the most common form of arthritis.
  • Blueberry is high in antioxidant and help reduce the systemic inflammation.
  • Pumpkin Seeds contain omega-3 fatty acids which may help to reduce inflammation.
  • Avocados are high in anti-inflammatory monounsaturated fat. They are also a good source of vitamin E, which has anti-inflammatory effects. Diets high in these compounds have been linked to a decreased risk of joint damage.
  • Mint Leaf contains the anti-inflammatory properties that can help in not only relieving foot pain but also overcoming other symptoms like redness and swelling.
  • A better long-term approach that can help you reduce the inflammation associated with plantar fasciitis is to start taking a daily dose ofcurcumin.
