Sobeit Restaurant & Bar: New Branding, New Management, New Menu

Sobeit (pronounce as So Be It) is located 222 Jalan Ampang which is right next to Oakwood Hotel and opposite to Ampwalk.

We were here to check out their food. Heard that they serve good North Indian food. Besides the North Indian food, we will also try Western food as well. Sobeit serves an awesome array of western and eastern cuisines. Let’s read on!

Butter Chicken

This was the one we tried first and wow, the smooth creamy texture of the gravy just couldn’t make us stop adding Nasi Briyani on to our plate

Dum Luckwani Briyani

This was the briyani rice that we keep adding on to our plate. It was also our first experienced having briyani rice in a Restaurant Bar. Lovely and yes, delicious!

Southern Style Homemade Fish Curry

If you love fish like we do, this is one of the dish must order to pair with briyani rice. Not too spicy and taste wise, just nice (not overpowering)

Mutton Chukka Varuval

This has become one of our favorite dish right now. It tastes good, flavorful and we just couldn’t stop digging for more!

Tandoori Chicken

Not taking mutton? No worries, you can have their tender, juicy and flavorful tandoori chicken.

Pear Gorgonzola Cheese Pizza

Let’s move on to western food now. This pizza, paired perfectly with wine. Trio cheese with caramelized pear. If you are a blue cheese lover, this definitely gonna be your choice.

Tex Mex Pizza

Half & Half pizza with chicken and mutton in a thin crust base. That was one good pairing with a glass of beer.

Big Daddy Beef Burger

Eat it while it’s hot. The juicy double beef patties serves with fries on the side.

Lloyd French Rack of Lamb

How can we go less with this soft and tender rack of lamb serves with ratatouille on the side. We need more of this and yes, we love this dish!

Butter Flaky Beef Crust

Hey pie lover, this Butter Flaky Beef Crust for sure will make your tummy happy. The portion was big and the filling was generous enough. Really filled up our tummy!
