In 1955, a small stall of wanton mee was open in Pudu Market – Selling their specialty char siew and sui gao wanton mee. Later on, they moved to the bigger space with a name called Chan Fatt and the business getting prospered. However, in the year 1996, the dominating wanton mee

In 2016, Megan also reached her retirement age in Finance Industry and her mother who already in her 90s suggested that Megan should consider to start up business. At the beginning, Megan quite hesitated but after a long persuaded by her mother, she decided to give it a try.

In the month of July 2017, Pudu Chan Fatt Wanton Mee was opened at Damansara Uptown – bringings her family’s recipe to another generation

NOODLE

CHAR SIEW WANTON MEE – Springy egg noodle served with homemade marinated char siew (Pork Sliced) and vegetables. The bowl of egg noodle dressed with Megan’s family recipe was simply delicious. The noodles remain springy until the last mouth.

CURRY LAKSA WITH CHICKEN – Also known as curry mee (in the Northern part of Malaysia). Curry Laksa is a dish that’s full of flavors and balance of sweet, sour, salty and spicy elements. With a squeeze of lime, it makes the bowl of Curry Laksa even tastier.

RICE

CHICKEN SERVED WITH A BOWL OF DARK SOY SAUCE RICE – A classic Chinese dish using dark soy sauce. The use of dark soy sauce created an appetizing brownish rice with a slight sweetness.

HOMEMADE CHINESE PORK + LIVER SAUSAGE WITH EGG – One of my favorite savory dish. The smoked, sweetened and seasoned pork, Chinese Sausage tasted so delicious and mouthwatering. Chinese sausage can also be made with duck liver or pork liver which is darker in color and richer in taste.

SNACK

WANTON IN SOUP – Wanton is a type of Chinese dumpling. The noodle dough (wanton skin) filled with pork and boiled in soup or it can be fried too.
SUI KAW IN SOUP- Sui Kaw is bugger than Wanton. Sui Kaw filled with shrimp, half lean / half fatty pork, spring onions, and mushroom. It tasted much more juicer compare to wanton.
LION HEAD MEATBALLS – Chinese Pork Meatball. Pudu Chan Fatt made this meatball so tender, moist and juicy with savory taste.
