Glenlivet Single Malt Whisky
It all started in 1824. Legally established by George Smith, the first licensed distillery in the parish of The Glenlivet. Tenacious in the face of adversity, he bravely set the tone for future whisky makers. Today The Glenlivet distillery name is known worldwide for setting the standard in taste and quality.
The Glenlivet Founder’s Reserve
Named in honor of the distillery’s founder, George Smith. It’s classic Glenlivet, with a creamy and fruity character bolstered by the use of first-fill American oak to mature some of the whisky. Well balanced and exceptionally smooth. Gold in color with delicate aromas of citrus fruits, notably sweet orange.
Food pairing was Organic Quinoa Fresh Salmon Trout Salad with Sesame Dressing. A cold appetizer that blends nicely with Founder’s Reserve. sweetness and freshness of the Fresh Salmon Trout boosted up while pairing with whisky.
The Glenlivet 12 years
One of the most famous malts in the world. Glenlivet 12 yo has a soft smooth balance of sweet summer fruits and the floral notes of spring flowers. The finishing taste with marzipan, fresh hazelnuts followed by the gentle spiciness of grated ginger.
A warm appetizer was the pairing for this 12yo Single Malt Whisky, Smoked Duck Breast with Fruit Compote. Since the 12yo whisky has a well-balanced fruity taste with strong pineapple notes, it makes the dish even tastier.
The Glenlivet 15 years old French Oak Reserve
A more toasty and oaky tasting version of Glenlivet that using top quality French oak. Deep, Intense gold color and expect rich notes of fruit, almonds, and sweet spice.
In fact, The Glenlivet was one of the first to use French oak for making whisky, a technique that has since been imitated the world over.
Pairing with Grilled Lamb Rack with Pumpkin Puree, it has the rich taste with creamy and buttery as well.
The Glenlivet 18 years old French Oak Reserve
This excellent 18yo single malt from Glenlivet is a classic Speyside dram, it also won two golds at the International Wine and Spirits Competition. The nose filled with rich fruit and toffee.
Old is the perfect expression of age and ELEGANCE. Love the pairing with Classic Creme Brulee. It gave a burst of sweet orange to your palate.
