It was an honored to be invited to witness the live cooking by our Malaysian Chefs, Chef Jo and Chef Bob during the event – Celebrating Malaysian Heritage Cuisine.
Celebrating Malaysian Heritage Cuisine is an event whereby we get to experience a Malaysia food through the lens of our Diverse Culinary Traditions.

In partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industries (MAFI) Malaysia and Masters of Malaysia Cuisine (MOMC) , this series of global live cooking demonstrations and food tasting sessions aims at promoting Malaysian Heritage Cuisine and showcase Malaysian products that are available worldwide.

Chef Johari brought us the stir fried rice dumpling (ketupat goreng) during the live broadcast.
Chef Johari also known as Chef Jo was one of the judges of MasterChef Malaysia. Chef Jo with his experience in culinary industry internationally for over four decades, created many fusion cuisine that involves our Malaysian dishes with others global ingredients.
Chef Bob brought us Kerutuk Itik Salai, it’s a slow-cooked smoked duck in coconut gravy.
Chef Bob who is the current President of the Professional Culinaire Association (Malaysia). Previously he worked as a Corporate Executive Chef with MAS Awana Sdn Bhd and now he is on his full time career as Consultant Chef and started hosting his live cooking shows.
